MOTS-c 40 mg
Mitochondrially encoded peptide · almost entirely preclinical
A 16-amino-acid peptide encoded within the 12S ribosomal RNA of mitochondrial DNA, described in 2015. Its primary target organ appears to be skeletal muscle: it inhibits the folate cycle and its tethered purine biosynthesis, which in turn activates AMPK. In people, exercise raises its levels in muscle and in circulation, but that is observed physiology, not a proven treatment. Everything known about administering it comes from mice.
