NOVATHERIS is an online supplier of research reference compounds, operating from Costa Rica. Contact: info@novatheris.com.
These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the NOVATHERIS site and the purchase of its products. By creating an account, placing an order or using the site, you declare that you have read, understood and accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree, you must not use the site or purchase products.
1. Eligibility
To create an account and buy you must be 18 years of age or older and have legal capacity to enter into binding agreements. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. NOVATHERIS may request verification and may limit or refuse sales to anyone who does not qualify.
2. Research use only
Products are offered solely for in-vitro laboratory research. They are not intended to diagnose, cure, mitigate, treat or prevent any disease, and they have not been evaluated by any health authority for human or animal use. The buyer agrees not to use, resell or distribute them for human or animal consumption or for any recreational purpose.
NOVATHERIS is not a pharmacy, a clinical laboratory or a healthcare provider, and does not sell medicines. It does not offer, prescribe or supervise treatments of any kind. No communication from NOVATHERIS — site, email, WhatsApp, social media or supporting material — may be interpreted as a recommendation for use in people or animals.
By purchasing, you declare that you are acquiring the products as a researcher and that you will use them exclusively for in-vitro research. Any other use is the buyer's sole responsibility and occurs outside the knowledge, control and consent of NOVATHERIS.
2.1 Compliance in your jurisdiction
The import, possession and handling of these compounds are governed by the laws of the place where you are located. It is the buyer's sole responsibility to know and comply with those laws before buying, including permits, registrations and customs requirements. NOVATHERIS does not advise on these matters and is not liable for holds, seizures, fines or legal consequences arising from the buyer's order.
3. Not medical advice
The information on the site is informational and educational and does not replace professional advice. NOVATHERIS does not provide reconstitution, dosing or application guidance for the products, and assumes the researcher knows the products they are acquiring.
4. Nature of the products and safe handling
By purchasing, the customer acknowledges that risks are associated with handling these materials and declares that, through their own independent study, they are aware of:
- The in-vitro research use of the products.
- The regulations of their country regarding the use of and exposure to these products.
- The health and safety risks associated with handling them, and the control measures required.
- The need to give adequate warning about those risks.
Products must be handled only by qualified and trained laboratory or research personnel.
5. Orders, prices and payments
Prices are stated in US dollars (USD) per vial and may change without notice. The amount charged is always the total of the order confirmed by NOVATHERIS; if there is a difference between what the screen shows and the order total, the order total prevails. NOVATHERIS may correct typographical or pricing errors and will not be liable for such errors.
We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit or debit card, processed online by our authorized payment provider.
- SINPE Móvil and bank transfer (Costa Rica only).
- Cryptocurrency (USDT on the TRON network and Bitcoin). The Bitcoin amount is calculated at the exchange rate at the time of the order; if payment is made later, the amount is confirmed with NOVATHERIS.
An order is considered confirmed when payment is approved. If payment is declined or reversed, the order is void. NOVATHERIS may refuse or cancel an order for lack of stock, suspected fraud or breach of these Terms, and in that case refunds the amount charged through the same payment method.
6. Delivery
NOVATHERIS keeps local stock in Costa Rica and coordinates delivery directly with the customer. Timeframes are estimates and may vary due to factors outside the control of NOVATHERIS. Details are in the shipping policy.
7. Returns
Every order has a 30-day guarantee from delivery: if you are not satisfied, we give your money back. The procedure, timeframes and refund method are in the returns and refunds policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8. No warranty and assumption of risk
Products are delivered "as is", without warranty of any kind beyond what is stated in the returns policy. NOVATHERIS does not warrant fitness for any particular purpose, nor any research result. By purchasing, the customer voluntarily assumes all risk associated with receiving, handling, storing, using and disposing of the products.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NOVATHERIS and its representatives shall not be liable for damages of any kind — direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential, including personal injury, lost profits or loss of data — arising from the use of or inability to use the products or the site, even if advised of their possibility. In any event, the total liability of NOVATHERIS to the customer, for any cause, shall not exceed the amount actually paid for the order giving rise to the claim. The buyer assumes all responsibility for the use, handling, storage and disposal of the products, as well as for compliance with applicable regulations.
10. Indemnification
The customer agrees to defend and hold NOVATHERIS and its representatives harmless from any claim, demand, penalty, damage, loss, cost or expense — including attorney's fees — arising from breach of these Terms, misuse of the products or any use in people or animals.
11. Intellectual property
The "NOVATHERIS" brand, its logo, texts, product photographs and images, design, packaging and all other site content are the property of NOVATHERIS and are protected. They may not be copied, reproduced, modified or used — including publication in third-party stores, catalogs or social media — without prior written authorization.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Costa Rica.

Returns and refunds
We trust our peptides. That is why every order has a 30-day guarantee from the day it arrives: if you are not satisfied, we give your money back. It applies to every peptide and you do not have to explain why.
1. When there is a refund
- You are not satisfied, for any reason, within 30 days of delivery.
- Damaged product on receipt (broken vial, tampered cap, opened packaging).
- Incorrect product: something other than what the order states was delivered.
- Order not delivered within the agreed timeframe and which we cannot locate.
- Order cancelled by NOVATHERIS for lack of stock or any other reason on our side.
2. When there is no refund
- Requests made more than 30 days after delivery.
- Incomplete or incorrect delivery address provided by the customer.
3. How to request it
From your account on novatheris.com (refund button on the order) or by writing to info@novatheris.com within 30 days of delivery, stating the order number. If the product arrived damaged or incorrect, attach a photo.
4. Response and timeframes
We answer every request within 1 to 2 business days. If the product arrived damaged or incorrect, you choose between replacement of the product or a refund of the amount paid.
5. Refund method
Refunds are made through the same payment method used for the purchase. Card payments are refunded to the same card through our payment processor and may take 5 to 15 business days to appear, depending on the issuing bank. SINPE Móvil or transfer payments are returned to the same account within a maximum of 5 business days. Cryptocurrency payments are returned to the same originating address, for the same dollar amount as the order.
6. Before a chargeback
If you do not recognize a charge, remember that it may appear on your statement under the payment processor's name and not as NOVATHERIS. Please contact us first: we resolve most cases the same day, faster than a bank claim.
Shipping
1. Where we deliver
We deliver in Costa Rica. The delivery address is provided by the customer when placing the order, and it is the customer's responsibility that it be complete and correct. We do not reship or refund orders returned because of a wrongly stated address.
2. Costa Rica
- Greater Metropolitan Area: delivery within 2 hours.
- Rest of the country: delivery within 24 hours.
Shipping within Costa Rica is always free, with no minimum purchase. No shipping charge is applied before or after the purchase.
3. When the timeframes start
All timeframes are estimates and are counted from payment confirmation, not from the moment of the order. They may vary due to holidays, weather or any other carrier factor. NOVATHERIS is not liable for carrier delays.
4. Packaging and storage
Products are shipped in discreet, protective packaging. On receipt, check the condition of the packaging; if it arrives damaged, photograph it before opening and let us know the same day.
5. Tracking
We notify you by WhatsApp when your order goes out and coordinate delivery directly with you.
Privacy policy
At NOVATHERIS our customers' privacy is a priority. This policy describes what personal data we collect, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have, in accordance with Costa Rica's Law No. 8968 on the Protection of Persons regarding the Processing of their Personal Data and its regulations.
1. Data controller
NOVATHERIS (Costa Rica) is responsible for processing the data you provide. Contact: info@novatheris.com.
2. Data we collect
- Account and order data: name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, delivery address and order history.
- Payment data: the amount, the date and a payment reference. We do not receive or store your full card number; that data is captured and held directly by the payment processor.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and service provider, recorded automatically in log files to operate and secure the site.
3. How we use your data
We use your data only to manage your account, process and coordinate your orders, provide support and, if you authorize it, send you communications. We do not use your data for purposes other than those described here without your consent.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or transfer your information to third parties for marketing purposes. We share data only when strictly necessary to fulfill your order or when the law requires it:
- Payment processor: receives your card data and the amount in order to process the charge and, where applicable, the refund.
- Delivery service: receives the name, phone number and address needed to deliver your order.
- Competent authorities, when the law requires it.
5. Communications and WhatsApp
If you contact us or place orders by WhatsApp or email, we process that data to handle your request. You may ask at any time to stop receiving commercial communications by writing to info@novatheris.com.
6. Cookies
The site may use cookies to remember preferences and improve the experience. You can set your browser to reject them; some functions may be affected.
7. Security
We apply reasonable measures and industry-standard encryption technologies to protect your data during transmission and storage. No system is infallible, but we limit access to the information to what is strictly necessary.
8. Your rights
Under Law 8968, you have the right to access, rectify, update and request deletion of your personal data, as well as to withdraw your consent. To exercise these rights, write to info@novatheris.com. You may also contact Costa Rica's Data Protection Agency (PRODHAB).
9. Retention
We keep your data for as long as you maintain a relationship with NOVATHERIS or as long as necessary to meet legal obligations, and then we delete or anonymize it.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The version in force will always be the one published on the site, with its update date.
